Myanmar Women Can Now Work Legally In Malaysia

Myanmar women can now work legally in Malaysia as Myanmar embassy in Malaysia uses undrop seal again.
This seal is put on the documents concerned only after verification of the calling letter from the other country.
“There are (105) employment agencies in Yangon. But we’re the only one who obtain documents with undrop seal”, said a person from an employment agency.
“Beginning date 2008, women were not granted employment visa. They can obtain visit and student visas only. Anyway, we can always get appointment letters for women. They couldn’t go there previously because our government was worried about their woes and sufferings abroad. But in the older days, Myanmar women worked there. Now they are okayed”, said a responsible employee from an employment agency.
