Fencing work at the international border begins

Imphal, December 14 2009: The first phase fencing work at the international border with Myanmar will start from January next year. In the first phase 10 kilometer long borderline at Moreh will be fenced with barb wire. The project for fencing the Indo-Myanmar border at Moreh aimed at checking cross border movement of undergrounds, drug smugglers and other anti-social elements.
